Essie had to make a diorama for school and she chose to do the southern Utah desert. I think she did a great job (with only a little help from me). I'm really proud of her. This has been a good school year, with lots of improvement in her reading and continued excellence in Math.

We couldn't find any of Sinjin's snakes so we had to buy some more. And now we also have plastic lizards. They're all over the house right now, and when I step on them they feel all gross and squishy under my feet:)
