End of Summer Trip

We just got back this morning from a fun little trip to Texas. But, unfortunately, my camera quit working. So...no pictures of hanging out at Grandma's house, or playing with Winnie, or Summer's birthday, or the beach at Padre Island. I'm sad about my lack of pictures, but it was a very fun trip. I always love seeing my family. I also love going to the ocean. I love the sand and the water and the waves and the breeze. It was maybe a little too breezy yesterday, but as long as I was in the water I didn't notice it. Summer and Sinj enjoyed the sand and getting wet about to their knees. I had to continually chase after Essie because she loved going out as far as she could touch. That's fun for me too, brings back a lot of memories of all our trips to Padre Island. Thanks, Dad, for taking us to the airport at 5 am on a Saturday.

You don't have to spend a whole lot to get a relatively decent camera. Not going to deny that upper level ones can do great things.

But so can little point and shoots ... if you get enough practice and take lots of pictures and use it right. 8]

I forked out for a sort of hybrid point and shoot/ DSLR. Do I know how to use any of the DSLR things to anything even CLOSE to it's capabilities? Nope.
