Carowinds

Our family likes to skip the whole "birthday party with friends and favors" thing, and instead we choose a fun activity to do together. Essie is a big roller coaster fan so her request was to go to Carowinds (An amusement park about an hour and a half from Columbia). Her birthday was over a month ago but we just went yesterday. It was pretty much perfect; awesome weather, small crowds and no headaches or sick bellies. There were some amazing rides: a standing roller coaster, a horizontal roller coaster that felt like flying and a race car roller coaster with drops so big we went airborne. It was some serious fun. :)
