We finally got to go visit Matt at OCS! It was so nice to see him, I loved every minute. We stayed at the coolest cabin on Fort Benning that had a front porch overlooking the Chattahoochee river. Matt didn't know why I was so excited about the Chattahoochee River, he'd never heard of it until he got to OCS. But that's because he refuses to listen to country music and doesn't know the Alan Jackson song. Anyway, it was such a fun trip. We watched Matt's branching ceremony where all the OC candidates chose their branch. Matt got Adjutant General, which is what he wanted so I was happy. We took a kayak and a canoe out on the river (which, by the way, had warning signs all over that there are alligators). We went swimming and hung out at our adorable little cabin. The only thing that could have made it better was if we could have stayed longer, or brought Matt home with us:)
