A South Carolina Spring Break

This year for Spring Break we decided to escape the cold of Utah and head down to South Carolina for five days to visit Matt. It is so beautiful there this time of year. It was in the 80's the whole time and everything is green or flowering. I told Zach it's too bad he can't be there now instead of all summer long when it will cease to be quite so beautiful and be just plain hot. We were planning to drive to Charleston to see the ocean but then there were tornado warnings for the whole coast of South Carolina so we ditched that plan. We took the kids to a movie, Soul Surfer, which was really good. Then we went to our favorite cemetary in downtown Columbia. We were searching for the three Revolutionary War veterans that are buried there, but only found one. We also went to Sesquicentennial State Park and hiked through the woods. It was an awesome trip. We had a little drama getting home, but it all turned out okay.
