No Matt For Me

I should be hanging out with Matt right now, but instead I'm about to watch yet another episode of House Hunters. And Matt spent his day going to church and then learning Italian. (He gets to use Rosetta Stone for free at work.) I didn't realize President's Day weekend was a busy flying time, but Matt tried to get out of Columbia on Thursday and missed three flights before giving up. It's okay, he's going to come next weekend, but it was a little disappointing.

This week Essie gets to go on a cool field trip. The whole fourth grade is going up into the mountains to go snow-shoeing. Sounds fun to me, I've always wanted to get into that or cross-country skiing. Maybe then I would be excited for winter to come.

Summer is still loving gymnastics, although she gets pretty upset if she thinks someone in her class is better than her. I keep trying to tell her that that doesn't matter, but she doesn't believe me. What really matters is that she looks cuter than the other girls in her leotard. Just kidding:) She is way cute though.

Sinjin is doing awesome at school. It's so fun to hear him reading some words and doing simple math. I have a hard time admitting that he's not my little baby, so I'm sort of amazed that he's more than half-way done with kindergarten. He's not too old to be my little snuggler though. Would it be weird if we still cuddle and watch Spongebob when he's 17?

Is she allowed to take a camera? Would Summer be worried about Essie taking a camera on her field trip?

I still watch HHInternational when I have a chance. I DVR all of 'em and then just delete if I get too behind and don't want to deal with it. Or it looks like a boring place (I am REALLY SICK of Carribean island type condos).

Summy. I'm glad she likes gymnastics just like her mom.

And Sinj. Oh, Sinj. What a funny little guy.

Missed you at the rodeo. We got tickets for TOFW. I'd almost pay just to watch Charlie and Dad and maybe Daniel and Zach deal with your three plus Winnie, though. ;]

I just laughed at the Summer in her leotard comment. That was hilarious. I'm so sorry that Matt couldn't come. I bet that was a real bummer. And snow shoeing. Fun!
