Utah Lake

When Matt and I moved to Saratoga Springs eleven years ago we just knew that we would soon be the proud owners of a ski boat. Then we realized how much those cost, so we thought we could at least buy a canoe or a kayak to take out on the lake. But somehow we never got around to getting any of those things, mainly because I talked Matt into having children. Well, yesterday I finally took a kayak out on my lake. Unfortunately Matt wasn't here to join me, but I had a wonderful time with Charlie. He rented a kayak from BYU and we took it out for a couple of hours. It was ideal weather, there were hardly any motorboats to get in our way, and we had no mishaps at all. It's a great upper body workout, and it's just peaceful to be out on the water and to watch the sun ripple across the waves. I recommend it to anyone who lives near some water. Too bad the rest of the day wasn't as nice. My mom and dad's house got burglarized while dad was at work and Angie was at Zach's apartment. They took the big screen tv, two computers, cameras, jewelry and various other things. They were also kind enough to go through cupboards and boxes and throw everything all over the house. It stinks that some stranger can wreak such havoc on another human being. We're all pretty much hoping great misery comes to the individuals responsible.

I'm glad you and Charlie had fun. Til we called and ruined it anyway. :/

I'm using Chrissy's computer. Trying to remember what I changed all my passwords to. Crazy.

I'm so sorry to hear your parents' place was robbed! I hope the jerks who did it get caught!
